Two Easy Meal Prep Meals

A key step to meal prepping is finding meals that you enjoy. Sure, making food ahead of time is awesome, especially when you’ve had a tough and tiring day, but eating something that isn’t appetizing is not going to make life easier.

For this reason it’s important to find multiple meals you can prepare ahead of time, instead of just one basic meal over and over.

Shake:

One of my favorite meal preps is actually more of an instant snack/lunch. I have a magic bullet blender that makes mixing very easy. One of my favorite on-to-go lunches is a blended health shake. I pour a cup and a half of almond or rice milk into the blender, put a couple tablespoons of peanut butter, a scoop of protein, and a banana, and I have instantly replaced the need to cook lunch!

Dinner:

One of my favorite dinners is a taco bowl. This consists of preparing black beans, chicken or turkey, salsa, cooked peppers, and other veggies of your choice. I cook everything in a huge batch and put it in the refrigerator and then warm it up or eat it cold depending on my mood.
